Mac=Windows=Linux

Ok so I just got back from Lichfield after spending most of the weekend at the Jazz and Blues festival there and I think that the best thing to do now is to completely neglect to write anything about it here and talk about the equality of the three major operating systems at the moment.
So let me explain. The way I see it the best way to describe it is through cars. My pc for example is a Ferrari Enzo. A little old and not as powerful as some of the more modern cars but still good. Of course being a car it has an engine and a steering wheel. Now the engine of course represents the computer itself. The steering wheel however is the OS. If I take that steering wheel out and replace it with a different one the car is still just as good as it used to be.
This is like a computer. If you change the OS on the computer then its still just as good. Its whats in the computer that counts not what OS it runs. For this reason I think all the OSs are equal. Sure one may do something better but another will be better at other things. If I run windows 7 on a pc with 4gig of ram and a 2.6 mhz quad core processor it is going to run just as well as the same pc with Snow Leopard installed. The OS is just a program to be run before running other programs. Sure windows has more compatible games, Linux is more complicated and mac is easier to use but in the end it all comes down to what you prefer and what you need it for.
They are all the same. Get over it.

(also wii, ps3 and xbox360 are down to personal preference as well so are also equal. Take note however that android is superior to the I-Phone in every way.)

  1. I completely disagree, how can you say that mac, windows and linux are equal? I think the web speaks for it's self when it shows that mac is the most desired OS and windows is the budget one that everyone's stuck with.

  2. Not quite sure how Windows is the budget one while Linux is free. As I have stated they are all equal its just down to personal opinion and the needs of the job.

  3. If I'm totally honest I'm not saying they're equal. I'm saying neither is better than the other overall.
