Not liking games

So I once "talked" to some guy on a forum who said he didn't like video games. I inquired further and he said that he hated all video games. Now I'm all about everyone having freedom of speech and though but in this case I think he has misinterpreted his own opinion. I can see why he may not like some video games but saying you hate all video games is like saying you hate all films or you hate all music. Everyone likes some kind of music even if its that terror core stuff that you could replicated by hitting a dustbin with a dead cat four-hundred times a minute. There are all kinds of games just like there are all types of film and music. For example from the seat in which I am seated now I have done all of the following things with games: I have discussed politics online in mmos, I have stalked the streets of Los Angeles as a vampire, I have explored the wastes of solthsiem as a werewolf, I have taken over entire galaxies, I have created a galactic trade empire, I have enslaved a race of elfs, I have destabilized various nations, I have been nano-augmented and been cast into a world of conspiracies to name a few.
The thing is thats just me. Those are the kinds of games that I play. For others there are train/plane/boat/submarine simulators, horse riding games, puzzle games, sport games and even various mini games for casual gamers. The point I'm trying to make is that games are as versatile as films and music and books. Saying you hate all games is just being closed minded. Even my own mother spends time playing scrabble or jewel quest. I understand if you don't like certain games but all of them is just stupid.
