Ironing
So ironing. I understand the idea behind it I just don't get it if you see what I mean. The way I see it is that you iron your shirts/trousers/socks/cat (actually please don't iron your cat I like cats) after washing them to make them look neat. That I understand but why do you have to look neat every day? Ironing your shirts every day means that there is no distinction between when you are trying to look neat, for say a job interview or a wedding, and when you are not trying to be neat, for example school or normal life. For this reason I reckon its best to iron your clothing items when doing something important like a job interview or a date (although maybe they're the same thing I don't have much experience) but don't iron them every time you wash them. You end up wasting your time and electricity. Time and electricity that could be used watching Star Trek or writing meaningless blog posts that maybe one person is going to read.

ironing gives you class. ok so there isnt much point in it otherwise but it makes you look good. unless the whole world started to not iron everything then maybe. and to be frank, we live in the UK. so most people where tack suits because they are Gym members.... i think
ReplyDeleteBut how would you differentiate between one who is trying to be classy and how you normally dress if clothes are always ironed?
ReplyDeleteIf you don't iron then people don't think you look presentable and try to ignore you which will never get your reasons TO iron.
ReplyDeleteTo get a Job interview you send the company an application and then they set up the interview. They never see you before the interview normally. As for a wedding or funeral they're family events so you'd get an invite regardless.
